Former President Ronald Reagan signed a proclamation on September 27, 1983, designating the third week of September as National Adult Day Services Week. This annual celebration raises awareness about the availability and accessibility of adult day programs across the country. Senior Services is proud to recognize and honor the participants and staff of its award-winning Elizabeth and Tab Williams Adult Day Center with events scheduled for each day of this special week.

All activities will take place at the Williams Adult Day Center, 231 Melrose Street, in Winston-Salem.

National Adult Day Services Week gives us the perfect opportunity to show our appreciation for staff, volunteers and—most of all—the participants and caregivers we are able to serve. We want everyone to know about the services and programs we’ve developed to meet the needs and enhance the lives of individuals living with memory loss, along with their caregivers, through our Williams Center adult day services program.

Please join us in celebrating Adult Day Services Week and help us spread the word.
