Can I deliver Meals-on-Wheels on the weekends?
No, Meals-on-Wheels routes are delivered during the weekday. Our program delivers weekday meals (Monday through Friday) to seniors who are homebound.
Do I have to have a partner to deliver a Meals-on-Wheels route?
You do not have to have a partner to deliver Meals-on-Wheels. Plenty of people deliver on their own. We also find that people enjoy going with a buddy because one person can focus on driving/navigating and the other person can focus on meal delivery.
Do I need to have some artistic ability/skill to volunteer with Opening Minds through Art?
No, you do not need any artistic background, skill, or ability to volunteer with Opening Minds through Art. The guided program will give you everything you need to be a successful volunteer!
