Our Goal is Service Excellence

Senior Services strives to be a recognized leader in the field of aging and nonprofit management. Our goal is to provide excellent and innovative programs and services that meet the needs of older adults who are isolated and living with frailty across the Forsyth County community. Please join us in celebrating the honors and awards listed below that demonstrate our continued pursuit of that goal.

Senior Services is a three-time winner of the Joel A. Weston, Jr., Memorial Award for Excellence in Non-Profit Agency Management.

                               

Senior Services has also been the recipient of the following recognitions:

  • Two-time recipient of the North Carolina Association on Aging Reaching for the Stars – Innovative Program Award
    2017 – Aging with Purpose Pilot Program
    2018 – Intergenerational Kindermusik Program at the Williams Adult Day Center
  • 2018 – Service Enterprise Effective Volunteer Engagement Certification
  • 2017 – Blue Cross Blue Shield “Month of Thanks” Honoree
  • 2011 – North Carolina New Organizational Vision Award for Home Care Program
  • 2010 – National Adult Day Services Association “Best Day Center” Award
  • 2005 – Triad Business Journal’s “Best Place to Work”
  • 2002 – George L. Maddox Award for Excellence in Creative Programs
