Aging Resource Specialist
The Aging Resource Specialist provides telephone, email, and face-to-face consultation for seniors, their caregivers and professionals in compliance with the department standards. This includes completing assessments, educating Help Line callers, other inquirers and walk-in visitors, and Elder Care Choices corporate clients. This position helps people successfully navigate, access and connect with community resources and with the programs and services of Senior Services. This position provides assistance with long-term planning and also completes appropriate follow-ups with inquirers.
Starting salary $40,557 – salary commensurate with experience
Assessment Nurse – LPN or RN
The Assessment Nurse will provide medical assessment to elderly and adults with physical disabilities in Forsyth County as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Assessment and reassessment completed as indicated by policy and funding requirements.
Starting salary $55,000 – salary commensurate with experience
RN Case Manager – Floating
The RN Case Manager will float between Home Care and Williams Center programs providing nursing support, completion of participant assessments, and development and review of care plans. Position assesses and follows-up on the needs of the participant/family, makes referrals, provides education and information. RN case manager also assists in providing staff education and supports coaching and mentoring of aides and health care associates.
Starting salary $65,000 – salary commensurate with experience
Director of Giving & Events
The Director of Giving and Events works directly with the Vice President of Development and Development Associate to create and implement the Senior Services annual fundraising plan to include mailings, special events, submission of grants, donor stewardship, and other creative methods. In conjunction with the fundraising team, serves as the primary coordinator for Senior Services signature fundraising events – the Evening for Alzheimer’s Care, Art Show and Sale benefiting Meals on Wheels, and other special events as appropriate. Responsible for developing a menu of giving options for special short-term campaign funds, Annual Fund gifts and special projects. Works with the fundraising team to ensure that all donor cultivation and stewardship activities are consistent with best practices and internal timelines.
Starting salary $60,000 – salary commensurate with experience
