“It’s alive!” This monstrously funny musical, based on Mel Brooks’ Oscar-nominated film, may cause a sudden case of “Transylvania Mania”! Picking up from Mary Shelley’s classic gothic tale, Frederick Frankenstein inherits a castle in Transylvania containing Igor, Inga and Frau Blücher. After discovering the secret entrance to his grandfather’s laboratory, Frederick decides to carry on the family experiments and creates a monster of his own. (PG-13)
The Little Theatre of Winston-Salem will present Young Frankenstein November 2-4 & 8-11 at SECCA. Thursday, Friday & Saturday shows are at 7:30 pm and Sunday matinees are at 2 pm. There will be an additional Saturday matinee (2 pm) on November 10. Tickets are $24 for adults and $22 for students; discounts are available for groups of 10 or more.
