HealthRhythms Dementia Drumming Circle

Designed specifically for individuals with dementia and their care partners in mind, HealthRhythms is a fun, evidenced-based activity that promotes social interaction and ensures a healthy, non-strenuous workout.
Led by John Beck, department chair of percussion at UNCSA, and sponsored by the Memory Counseling Program, this drumming circle will create a supportive environment to build camaraderie, self-respect, and respect for others.
