freeGrandparents Raising Grandchildren is a support group for adults aged 55 and older who are raising grandchildren or other minor relatives under the age of 18. Participants will be able to discuss the challenges and joys of kinship care in a safe and supportive environment.
This group will meet every 2nd Wednesday of the month from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Senior Services, 2895 Shorefair Drive. RSVP is required the Monday prior to the meeting—contact Frandee Nichols, kinship care coordinator, at 336-721-6952 or fnichols@seniorservicesinc.org.
