The Meals-on-Wheels Program
Our Meals-on-Wheels program delivers a lunch time meal to homebound seniors Monday through Friday usually between the hours of 9:45am and 12:00 noon. Routes usually take about 90 minutes. You can deliver once a week, once a month, or anything in between. We serve seniors in all of Forsyth County including Kernersville, Clemmons, and Lewisville.
Senior Services is accepting volunteer applications for our Meals-on-Wheels program once we resume hot meal delivery. That date has not yet been determined and relies on when it is safe to do so and when we have enough volunteers for all open routes. Presently, participants are receiving one box of 5 frozen meals once a week. We have this frozen delivery covered with volunteers currently.
