The Williams Adult Day Center
When memory loss occurs, many seniors who are unable to leave home avoid socialization and become more isolated. The award-winning Elizabeth and Tab Williams Adult Day Center provides a safe, fun and structured day program that brings meaning and friendship to each participant. The Day Center allows caregivers to continue their work and other family responsibilities.
Volunteers participate with seniors in a variety of fun and meaningful activities such as:
- Helping participants with special programs involving music, baking, gardening, crafts
- Serving lunch and snacks
- Answering phones, greeting people, and other clerical support
- Gardening, yard work, and building maintenance
