July Holiday Spirit Reigned Supreme!

Glad Tidings!

Christmas in July ended with an avalanche of terrific wish list items for Forsyth County’s seniors in need, and we are so very grateful to everyone who participated in making this another great success, including the Novant Health Coding, Elks Lodge 449, the Sticht Center for Healthy Aging and Alzheimer’s Prevention, Olivet Moravian Church, Women of the Epiphany Lutheran Church, Red Bank Baptist Church and the New Bethel Baptist Church Senior Ministry. The community’s generosity was overwhelming, and we thank you on behalf of all the older adults who will be receiving the wonderful items you contributed.

Program participants will receive a plentiful assortment of food,  personal care items and helpful household products, thanks to a generous community and our friends at Piedmont Federal Savings Bank, which once again came on board as the Presenting Sponsor for this basic-necessities drive that means so much to seniors in need. Receiving a bonus supply of essential everyday items frees up dollars that our seniors can now use to pay for medical care, utilities or other housing expenses, which will ease the stress on those living on limited fixed incomes.  Christmas in July donors–all you individuals and community groups who helped fill Santa’s sleigh to overflowing this summer–you outdid yourselves!

With Many Thanks to a Caring Community!
