Everyone wants to feel loved on Valentine’s Day. A little bit can go a long way in bringing joy to isolated, homebound elders.

Staff from Novant Health, WBFJ, and Blue Cross Blue Shield, as well as students from the Reagan High School Latin Club, recognized the need for some small tokens of love to share.  These wonderful groups got in touch with their creative sides and brought these wonderful pieces of art in to Senior Services throughout the week. It’s wonderful to have so many people in our area express such a desire to spread some love to Forsyth County Seniors.

Senior Services collected hundreds of these hand-made, beautiful and inspiring cards which were distributed by legions of volunteers to Meals-on-Wheels recipients on Valentine’s Day, along with a hot nutrious meal. Thanks to the big hearts on display from these organizations, this year’s valentines are sure to make the day extra special for those we serve.
