Caring for a person living with dementia can be a daunting task. At times, it can rob you of your peace and joy. Constantly prioritizing another’s needs over your own can leave you feeling drained and exhausted.
Join Kim Wilson, MSW, LCSW from the Memory Counseling program in this one hour workshop that will help you as a care partner to prioritize your own needs and emotions during challenging times. Learn how to validate your feelings, sustain your quality of life, and find meaning and purpose while caring for another.
Space is limited. Registration is required. Contact Alyssa Botte at 336-716-4683 or abotte@wakehealth.edu to register.
