Come celebrate the release of the new picture book Dump Truck Duck! Feel free to bring your own carpenter belt and tools! Meet the author, Megan E. Bryant, for a storytime; build with blocks and legos; and play construction games. Megan has written more than 250 children’s books (including a New York Times bestseller) for ages ranging from babies to teens. Two of her books, Mythlopedia: Oh My Gods! and Mythlopedia: She’s All That! were named 2009 VOYA Nonfiction Honor Books. Her dedication to fostering literacy includes multiple school visits a year for students ranging from preschool to college, as well as teaching writing at Salem College. Her forthcoming books include My Snow Globe (board book, 2016); My Easter Egg (board book, 2018); and the Pocket Genius chapter book series, which launches in 2017.
