THE 21st ANNUAL EVENING FOR ALZHEIMER’S CARE IS ALMOST HERE!
We’re gearing up for our 21st Evening For Alzheimer’s Care, an annual fundraiser supporting the work at our Elizabeth and Tab Williams Adult Day Center. In an effort to keep our community safe, this year’s event – which allows us to care for families navigating an Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other memory loss diagnosis – will be completely virtual, free, and open to the public. Read below for more information about how you can get involved in making a difference for these families!
Proceeds from the Evening for Alzheimer’s Care make it possible for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease or some other form of dementia to receive compassionate, nurturing care at the Elizabeth and Tab Williams Adult Day Center
and for their families to receive needed support and respite from their 24/7 caregiving responsibilities.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED
The Alzheimer’s Care 2021 Challenge, benefiting the Williams Adult Day Center, will launch on September 21, 2021, World Alzheimer’s Day, and will continue through November 5. The Challenge invites you and your friends to participate in online fundraising and provides a special opportunity to share why supporting the Williams Center is important to you. Social media is an effective way to fundraise and spread the word about our mission during these uncertain times. We are grateful for your help with getting the word out in the community! Accept the Challenge.
Over the past 20 years, our Evening for Alzheimer’s Care has been a place to find treasures through our silent auction. This year, you can find them virtually! We’re inviting the entire community to participate in our online silent auction where you will find unique items, classic art, the latest tech items, fun getaway packages, sports memorabilia, and more! Help someone living with memory loss get the help they need while you find the perfect treasure. The auction portion of the event kicks off on October 29 and runs for one week.
Share hope, support, and community, as Senior Services presents our 21st Evening for Alzheimer’s Care. Your gift will provide all of this and more to people living with dementia and other forms of memory loss, as well as their families, and care partners. Your support helps families who are navigating the dementia journey to receive respite, programming, and daily care. Donate today!
