Join us for a screening of Gen Silent, a documentary shedding light on the stories of elderly LGBTQ Americans and the struggles they have faced, aging in a society where they fought to be themselves but finding systems unwilling to accept them. Following the screening, there will be an open audience discussion featuring Kate Mewhinney, WFU Law professor and director of the Elder Law Clinic. The event is sponsored by the LGBTQ Center and the Elder Law Clinic of WFU Law School. The event will be held at Wake Forest University, Greene Hall, Room 145 at 7:00 pm.
