Senior Services and the SECC

For the second year, Senior Services, Inc., is listed in the State Employees’ Combined Campaign catalogue as an agency to which an employee can designate a charitable contribution. Please give this your thoughtful consideration. The senior population is increasing rapidly, as is their need for the vital services that we provide.

There are seven programs that benefit from community contributions and additional funds will enable the programs to grow: the Elizabeth and Tab Williams Adult Day Center, Meals-on-Wheels, Senior Lunch, Home Care, Living-at-Home, Help Line and Elder Care Choices.

How meaningful would your support be?  In the words of one recipient of program services, "I couldn't believe anyone would come and help me, but you have.  Thank you so much."

Unfortunately, there are many elderly living on limited, fixed incomes who are waiting for service.  Imagine how difficult it is to put an 83-year-old woman with health problems on a "waiting list."

If you are a state employee, please consider a generous designated gift to Senior Services this year.  100% of your contribution will go toward program services, helping us reach more seniors in need.
