Earlier this month Senior Services welcomed some very special guests—the leadership team of Piedmont Federal Savings Bank, the corporate partner that has been responsible for the years of dedicated support received by Senior Services’ Christmas in July and Remember in December campaigns, ongoing since 2012.  Because of Piedmont Federal’s backing, Senior Services has been able to deliver more than 5,000 bags of essential household products, personal products and toiletry items to the elderly we serve, supplementing the services provided by our nutrition, in-home care and therapeutic day care programs.

“Piedmont Federal has been an outstanding partner over the years, not only providing financial resources but also promoting the campaigns in their advertising and on their website and offering its Forsyth County offices as drop-off locations for wish list items,” said Lee Covington, president and CEO of Senior Services.  “These semiannual drives could not have had the kind of community-wide exposure they have received or met with degree of success they have achieved without the tremendous support of Piedmont Federal.”

Items on the 2017 wish list, which can be found here, can be dropped off at any Forsyth County office of Piedmont Federal or at the Senior Services Center, 2895 Shorefair Drive beginning the week after Thanksgiving.
