Please Help Us Fight Food Insecurity!

Truliant Federal Credit Union is offering $1,000 mini-grants to local nonprofits this month, and Senior Services has been named a finalist!  But we need your help to win.

If named a grant recipient, Senior Services will use the funds awarded to provide 200 hot, nutritious meals to a frail homebound senior adult facing hunger and at risk of malnutrition. This grant would provide nutrition for 10 months, including groceries to supplement evening and weekend meals, for one senior in need in Forsyth County.  Volunteers will be delivering the meals to this individual each weekday and providing a friendly visit and an all-important safety check at the same time.

You can help us win the mini-grant and assist a senior in need simply by clicking on the Senior Services box each day between now and August 15.  And remember . . . you can cast a vote for our project every 12 hours—that’s TWICE each day!
