Fan Distribution

Each year for the past several years when the weather began to heat up and summer was on the horizon, Duke Energy and the Northwest Piedmont Council of Governments began distributing electric fans through Senior Services to seniors 60 years of age or older who were residents of Forsyth County and facing a home situation that was a threat to their health and well-being owing to a lack of cooling equipment on the premises.

Look for a future announcement on our website regarding whether Duke Energy will be asking Senior Services to administer a fan distribution program for 2008.
