Title: Elaine Dowdell Paintings on DisplayDescription: An exhibit featuring the work of Winston-Salem artist Elaine Dowdell continues in the gallery at the Senior Services Center, located at 2895 Shorefair Drive. It features 18 paintings reflecting Dowdell’s interest in mountain landscape paintings. The exhibition includes scenes from the North Carolina mountains, the New River, and reflections of Dowdell’s childhood near the Hudson River and Catskill Mountains of New York.
The show, which is open to the public free of charge, will run until April 30, 2014. Hours for viewing are 8:30 A.M. until 4:30 P.M., Monday through Friday, and many of the paintings are available for purchase.
