Williams Adult Day Center
The Elizabeth and Tab Williams Adult Day Center provides a safe, caring environment for adults who need daily supervision, socialization, and assistance with the activities of daily living.
A calendar for September outlines the center's plans for the month. The Williams Center is a practical and appealing program for older adults who need specialized care but want to continue living in their own homes or community setting for as long as possible.
Services Provided:
Structured activities, nutritious meals, and social programs are provided. Medical supervision is included, as well as the opportunity for baths and hair care (for an additional fee). The daily staff includes a director, a registered nurse, certified nursing assistants, a program director and activity coordinators.
In addition to providing a stimulating and safe experience for participants, the Williams Adult Day Center allows caregivers to continue their work and other family responsibilities during the day with the knowledge that their relatives are safe.
Eligibility
The Williams Center is especially for individuals who would benefit from a safe environment and enjoy talking, laughing, singing, dancing, exercising, working with crafts or just people watching. The Williams Center is designed for individuals who can generally care for their own needs and are ambulatory or semi-ambulatory. A pre-admission assessment is conducted by staff during a visit to the center.
Cost of Services
The cost is $50.00 a day, with an additional charge for care after 4:00pm. Baths and hair styling are also available for an additional cost. Financial assistance is available for individuals with limited resources. Persons using these funds are given the opportunity to share in the cost of service by giving what they can afford.
