Help Line is your “one-stop-shop” for finding information regarding services in Forsyth County for seniors. Aging Resources Counselors are available to guide seniors, their families, caregivers, and professionals through a variety of existing local programs and resources designed to help seniors maintain their independence.
The counselors are available to listen to your concerns, complete comprehensive assessments, and share information about the different service providers. Counselors may either refer you to appropriate resources or contact programs of your choosing on your behalf to begin the referral process. Counselors often follow up to make sure that you have received the help you need.
In addition to providing phone consultations, our Aging Resource Counselors conduct in-person meetings with seniors who seek information on aging-related matters.
The counselors are also certified by the Seniors’ Health Insurance Information Program and are qualified to assist with Medicare, Medicaid and other insurance questions.
2010 Directory Of Services for Older Adults in Forsyth County, a comprehensive listing of services that can assist the elderly of Forsyth County. Directories are updated annually and are available free of charge.
