Senior Services accepts donated supplies such as adult diapers, underpads, booster pads, nutritional supplements like Boost and Ensure, and other such items that can be used by our clients, or other members of the community in need. We also accept donations of medical equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, canes and bedside commodes as long as they are in good condition. Senior Services is happy to provide a letter of receipt to donors of such items.

We store the donated equipment and supplies in our Loan Closet and distribute them to those in need. Items may be dropped off or picked up at our facility at 2895 Shorefair Drive, in Winston-Salem.

Senior Services cleans all medical equipment thoroughly before releasing it to the public, but offers the donated items “as is” and does not make any representations or warranties about the equipment. Individuals requesting medical equipment from the supply closet will need to sign a waiver of liability when they pick up the item or items.
